⚔️Game Mechanics
Sabong Saga is built as an auto-battler, yet its true depth lies in the preparation that takes place before each match.
Success is determined not only by entering the arena but also by the strategies formed beforehand through feeding, equipping, and decision-making that shape every outcome.

🗡️ Battle Items
Battle Items add a strategic layer to every match, giving your chicken unique advantages during combat. Selecting and ordering them properly can make all the difference in battle.
Note: This is just the first iteration of Battle Items, and many aspects are still subject to change as we refine the system.
⚒️ Crafting Requirements
50 Feathers + 50 $COCK + 10 Shards
Similar to Corns, there are different types of Shards in the game, and the required type depends on the battle item being crafted. Some Battle Items require fewer Shards, but in exchange, they use Shiny Shards, which are much rarer.

🎯 Battle Item Selection Process
Before each battle, you’ll go through a quick setup phase to equip your chicken with items.
Move items from Wallet to Inventory
Select your chicken for battle (Chicken Inventory)
Open the battle modal to begin setup
Pre-select 3 battle items (up to 5 with IAP)
Enter matchmaking
Once a match is found, you can view stats and selected items
Reorder your items before the fight (choose activation order for each round)
At <1500 MMR, item order is preset and cannot be changed
At 1500 MMR and above, you can manually reorder items before the battle starts
Battle begins — one item activates per round, in the order you set.

🍪 Feeding Cookies
The Chicken Feeding system allows players to enhance their chickens with temporary stat bonuses before entering battle.
Here’s everything you need to know about feeding Cookies 👇
You can only feed up to 4 Cookie types per chicken.
Each cookie type grants its bonus stat only once.
Cookies last 12 hours from usage.
Ultimate Cookies grant a random stat which blocks the same stat type from being fed again. Use them first and plan accordingly.

⚡ Energy System
The energy system in Sabong Saga is directly tied to each chicken’s Health Points (HP). HP functions as the cooldown timer for each chicken. After battles, chickens lose HP and must regenerate it before they can fight again. Free daily heals serve as your Energy, allowing you to recover HP and re-enter battles.
Health Points (HP): Each chicken has a maximum HP value (e.g., 300 HP). The HP decreases after battles.
Cooldown Dependency: The cooldown duration is directly proportional to the remaining HP of the chicken after battles. Lower HP results in a longer cooldown period.
Healing Options:
Free Daily Heals: Players can heal their chicken to full HP up to (x) times daily at the Health Center for free. The number of available heals will depend on how many chickens you have.
Heal In-App Purchases: Purchase different types of heals using RON tokens. The RON fee is tied to a fixed USD value.
Natural Regeneration: Chickens will slowly recover HP over time without using any resources, but this method takes the longest. Rarer chickens regenerate HP faster.
⚰️ Faint Mechanic (Genesis Chickens)
When a Genesis Chicken loses under the effect of Takipsilim, it enters a Faint status. This mechanic keeps the Genesis balanced in Leaderboard progression and shows that even immortals are not spared from the wrath of Takipsilim.
Here are the conditions and limitations for fainted chickens 👇
🔸 They can’t perform any ecosystem actions until the next reset at 00:00 UTC 🔸 They can’t be rubbed for Feathers 🔸 They still count toward daily heal allocation
Even immortals can fall sometimes!

☠️ Death Mechanic (Legacy and Ordinary Chickens)
The Death mechanic introduces permanent risk to battles. It brings risk-to-earn gameplay into Sabong Saga, where every battle carries the possibility of permanent loss.
Legacy and Ordinary chickens that trigger Takipsilim and lose will now permanently die and be burned from the supply, introducing a risk-to-earn mechanic.
Base Chance = 6.9%
Death Chance (%) = Base Chance + ((Current Population−Target Population)/Target Population)× Scaling Factor
If a chicken triggers Takipsilim, a warning will appear at the start of the match: “Takipsilim is watching this battle.”
Quitting or refreshing the page after this message appears does not affect the outcome of the battle.
