The Genesis collection will consist of 2,222 exclusive chickens, the most coveted and glorious in the Sabong Saga universe. These chickens are immortal, they defy death. Each chicken will have 6 parts with each part having a 6.9% chance to roll a Legendary part. Legendary traits will be featured in Sabong Saga, adding an exciting layer to the minting process. Genesis chickens with Legendary parts will have gameplay buffs, such as a potential heal buff with a % chance to activate when their HP drops below a certain treshold, inspired by the healing properties of many mythological birds. These Legendary traits will be inspired by mythological birds from Southeast Asia, such as the Philippines🇵🇭’ Ibong Adarna, Indonesia🇮🇩’s Garuda, and Vietnam’s 🇻🇳Chim Lạc, as a tribute to Ronin’s most active user base. The Genesis collection provides the best chance to mint chickens with legendary traits, but this isn’t the only opportunity to own a Legendary chicken.
A second collection is planned to launch before gameplay begins, giving more players the chance to join the world of Sabong Saga. However, the probability of legendary traits in the second collection will be much lower, with less than 0.5% chance for each part.
As strong advocates of community engagement, we ran a Chicken Traits contest to gather suggestions from the community for in-game parts. Some of these suggestions will be implemented, ensuring that our project reflects the desires of our players.
The NFTs won’t be pre-defined before the mint date, giving players the thrill of potentially rolling Legendary traits during the reveal. We aim to make the minting process transparent and enjoyable by collaborating with the Ronin team to achieve this goal.
