Grit Points

Represents training and battle experience. These points can be distributed across the four core stats: HP, Attack, Speed, and Defense, allowing players to shape their roosters' fighting styles.

Key Features of Grit Points:

  • Total GPs Available: 600

  • Maximum Per Stat Category: 275

Rationale for GP System

  1. Customization: Players can create specialized builds or opt for balanced configurations.

  2. Strategic Depth: Encourages experimentation for competitive play, catering to both beginners and advanced players.

  3. Flexibility: Supports a wide range of playstyles, from offensive blitzers to durable tanks.

Diminishing Returns

To maintain balance and discourage overloading one stat, GPs provide diminishing returns as more points are invested in a single stat:

  • First 100 GPs: Full boost (e.g., +1 stat per 4 GPs).

  • Next 100 GPs: Moderate boost (e.g., +1 stat per 8 GPs).

  • Beyond 200 GPs: Minimal boost (e.g., +1 stat per 16 GPs).

This system incentivizes spreading GPs across multiple stats while still allowing meaningful specialization for focused builds.
